An assessor is a person with the required knowledge and skills that determines the competence of a learner in meeting required standards and doing the job at hand in their own particular field of expertise by collecting evidence.

COURSE DURATION: 5 Weeks Maximum Part time or 5 days full time.

Assessors need to be registered?

Absolutely YES. It will be to your benefit, once you have received your Statement of Results from ETDP-SETA and a certificate of competence you can register with the relevant SETA’s. Once registered you will receive a unique registration number as proof of registration.

Assessor learning outcomes

Practitioners credited with this (Unit Standard 115753) will be able to conduct assessments within their fields of expertise.
